The Meaning of Show & Why we are are all in
I came up with the frame work of the show in 2023 . Throughout my life I’ve shared stories about my strange upbringing in an (off the boat 2nd generation Sicilian family) . I have lots of funny stories about my Dad, Grand Mother and my aunt and uncles .The Jobs I’ve worked are countless and funny , This businesses I came up with, some legit. I always had a side hustle on the side that was the best part. A few years ago I met the other Chris , our sons play soccer together so after the games we would stand over on the sideline, ripping on the over weight brainless refs, The parents of the other team always losers. We were asked to leave some of the games for bad spotsmanship. A lot of other fathers on the sideline would say you guys have to start a Podcast , I can’t stop listening to you guys . In 2023 I started the project with a X buddy of mine who is a shitbag and a backstabbe . He will regret it one day I promise you that. I was dying to get this project off the ground . After hanging with Chris for the last 3 years and coming to the conclusion that I could write a book using my experiences and change the lead Character to the other Chris, it would almost be the same book and vise versa.
What is important to us first and Foremost is that you guys laugh and have a great experience listening to us . The show is truly for you. Second, we are passionate about keeping an open forum no PC shit, every category gets it fairly . we will say what we want, when we want to say it and with no apologizes . As listeners we expect the same from you or just don’t listen.
Chris and I would like to inspire connection, and bring you in to the journey of discovering our world. Since we are both Grateful Dead Fans we choose to call the show “What A Long Strange Trip” Lyrics from the song Trucking which is perfect for the way to captour our lives as we have transcended over time .
As Jerry Garcia would sing it “Sometimes lights are shinning on me….. and other times I can barley see…. Maybe it occurred to me…. What a long Strange Trip it’s been !” To me the song means life is stranger then shit so just roll with it.

Our lives have been Long strange trips, I think you will see that thyme transpire time again on the show. Wall Street by day and Shake Down Street by night . The stories are true , you could not make some of them up . The Pod Cast will be funny , interesting, definitely not normal but all true . The show will have no filter and is not for the faint of heart . We promise to enrich your journey whether that’s asking for a promotion, starting to enjoy life again or taking some risky chances. At the very least you will laugh your ass off !
